Petra Häffner (born May 2, 1964 in Schorndorf ) is a German Green Party politician and has been a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament since 2011 .

education and profession

Petra Häffner trained as a sports and gymnastics teacher until 1984. After that she was a sports teacher at the Christopherusheim in Welzheim until 1992 . From 1992 to 1994 she did further training as a physiotherapist at the school for physiotherapy in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse , which she completed with the state examination. From 1994 to 1998 she was a physiotherapist at the Bethel Hospital in Welzheim. From 1998 to 2001 she worked as a freelancer in a physiotherapy practice. After completing her apprenticeship as a naturopath in 2001, she practiced this profession in her own practice until 2011.

Political activity

From 2004 to 2014 Petra Häffner was a member of the municipal council of the city of Schorndorf , and since 2014 she has been a member of the district council of the Rems-Murr district . In spring 2014, the general assembly in Schorndorf did not nominate her again for a candidacy for the local council. She has been a member of the Greens since 2009. In the state elections in 2011 , she was elected to the state parliament through a second mandate in the state constituency of Schorndorf . In the state elections in 2016 , she won the direct mandate for the Schorndorf state constituency.

Family and private

Petra Häffner lives in Schorndorf. She is widowed and has two children.
