Petra Horneber

Petra Horneber (born April 21, 1965 in Floß ) is a German sports shooter. She belonged to the elite of German shooting sports . In addition to numerous international titles, she was also able to win many national titles and is still active at Germania Prittlbach . Husband Ralf is also her trainer. Horneber is a secretary by profession and works in the office of the Bavarian Sports Shooting Association.

  • 1993: WM crossbow; World Cup final three-position fight (1st place), DM three-position fight
  • 1994: World Cup lying with world record 596 rings, three-position fight (7th place), team (1st place), air rifle (8th place), team (1st place); EM air rifle (19th place), team (1st place)
  • 1995: World Cup final air rifle (5th place); EM air rifle (4th place), team (1st place), DM three-position fight
  • 1996: 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta : Silver medal air rifle
  • 2000: bronze medal EM air rifle
  • 2001: European air rifle team champion, German air rifle runner-up
  • 2002: World Champion KK-3x20 sport rifle, German runner-up air rifle and KK-3x20 sport rifle
  • 2011: German champion (DM) air rifle and small caliber three-position combat, women’s age group
