Petra Novotná (born April 10, 1981 in Prague ) is a former Czech volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

Petra Novotná began playing volleyball in 1998 in her homeland near Tatran Prague- Střešovice and one year later moved to local rivals PVK Olymp Prague , where she played until 2007 and became Czech champion in 2005. In 2002 the outside attacker played at the volleyball world championship in Germany , where the Czech national team failed in the preliminary round, among other things, because of the DVV selection. From 2007 to 2010 she played volleyball in France with Vandœuvre Nancy .

Career Beach

Petra Novotná also played internationally in the sand with Lenka Háječková from 2003 to 2008 and was represented at all European championships during this time . The best results were achieved in 2004 in Timmendorfer Strand , 2005 in Moscow and 2006 in The Hague with ninth place each. At the 2007 European Championships in Valencia , Petra Novotná reached ninth place alongside Soňa Nováková-Dosoudilová after losing to the German duos Goller / Ludwig and Holtwick / Semmler .
