Petras Ancelis

Petras Ancelis (born July 11, 1950 in Zablatiškės , Zarasai district , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian lawyer , criminalist, jurist and professor of criminal procedural law .

Life

From 1965 to 1967 he studied at the technical vocational school in Troškūnai (Rajon Anykščiai ) and from 1968 to 1970 at the middle school in Zarasai , 1977 graduated from the college for investigation in Volgograd (Russia). In 1996 he received his doctorate on the subject of Ikiteisminio nusikaltimų tyrimo procesinės ir organizacinės problemos ( lyginamosios teisėtyros studija) .

From 1968 to 1970 he was a cinema mechanic at the Zarasai Cinema Directorate, and from 1970 to 1972 he did compulsory service in the Soviet Army . From 1977 he was an investigator at the Ministry of the Interior of Lithuania , from 1992 a professor at the Lithuanian Police Academy (Lietuvos policijos akademija) (until 2000, Lietuvos teisės akademija), from 1998 as dean of the police department, from 2008 professor, head of the Department of Forensics .
