Petre Bakevski

Petre Bakevski ( Cyrillic Петре Бакевски ; born January 5, 1947 in Kavadarci , † August 25, 2011 in Skopje ) was a Macedonian poet , journalist , storyteller , publicist and theater critic .

Life

Bakevski worked mainly as a journalist , theater critic and editor . As an editor he was employed by the cultural section of the daily Večer , he was also the editor and chairman of the book publisher Detska radost , which belongs to the newspaper Nova Makedonija . In 1974 Bakevski became a member of the Macedonian Writers' Union. He died on August 25, 2011 after a long illness in Skopje at the age of 64.
