The Petrel Glacier ( English for Sturmvogelgletscher ) is a glacier tongue on the Ross Island in the Antarctic Ross Archipelago . It pours from Mount Bird into a wide valley above Waipuke Beach .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them.
