The Petrel Hill (English for Petrel hill is) an approximately 35 m high hill on the East Antarctic Georg V. Coast . It rises 925 m east-southeast of the largest of the Mawson's Huts between Low Lake and East Lake on Cape Denison .
The Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson named him during the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911-1914). The official recognition of this designation took place on March 7, 1991 by the Antarctic Names Committee of Australia .
