The HX1 is a concept vehicle from the French vehicle manufacturer Peugeot . It was presented for the first time at the IAA 2011 in Frankfurt am Main .

Technical specifications

drive

The combination of a four-cylinder diesel engine (2.2 HDI) with 150 kW (204 PS) on the front axle and a 70 kW (95 PS) electric motor that drives the rear axle results in an all-wheel drive (PSA HYbrid4 system) with a system output of 220 kW (299 PS). The vehicle is able to be operated purely electrically for 30 km. Charging via a socket is possible ( plug-in ). Overall, the manufacturer states a consumption of 3.2 l / 100 km and carbon dioxide emissions of 83 g / km.

Design

With a height of 1.37 m, the vehicle is relatively flat for a van . Seven air flaps per wheel on the spokes can be closed at high speeds, turning them into almost closed discs. A rear spoiler extends when the vehicle reaches 100 km / h. Overall, the result is a drag coefficient (c w ) of 0.28.

The vehicle has scissor doors hinged in opposite directions and no B-pillar .

interior

The seating configuration can be described as 4 + 2. The seat shells of the optional middle row of seats are countersunk in the front seats and can be pulled out electrically. The interior is decorated with elements made of oak, brushed metal and marble. A minibar and a coffee machine have been integrated into the center console, the latter alluding to the company's history.

Trivia

In collaboration between the Peugeot designers and Pierre Hardy, the “Concept Shoe” was created, which reproduces the materials and design of the vehicle.
