The Pfandbriefbank AG Swiss Mortgage is one of the two Swiss mortgage bond institutions. It was founded in 1930 and is based in Zurich .

Legal basis

The Swiss Pfandbrief Act forms the legal basis for the Pfandbriefbank. This restricts the right to issue Pfandbriefe to two institutions whose activities are restricted to issuing Pfandbriefe. The other is the Pfandbrief headquarters of the Swiss cantonal banks .
