From 1936 to 1938 there was a restoration. In 1979 the church was restored outside and in 1983/1984 inside. During the excavation (1983) the remains of three previous churches were unearthed, a wooden church from the 8th century, a Carolingian stone church and a Romanesque church around 1200 with a tower from the 13th century.

architecture

The single-nave late Gothic wall pillar church with a late Gothic vestibule in the south has a western tower that is Romanesque in the core and is surrounded by a cemetery.

A retracted single-bay lower choir with stepped buttresses adjoins the two-bay nave with Romanesque walls in the core.
