Bings Parish Church
The parish church of Bings is located in Bings in the municipality of Bludenz in Vorarlberg . The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Trinity belongs to the dean's office Bludenz-Sonnenberg in the diocese of Feldkirch . The church is a listed building .
history
The church was built from 1953 to 1955 for the village of Bings and the neighboring community of Stallehr according to plans by the architect Werner Pfeifer .
architecture
The west-oriented rectangular building with narrow aisles under a deep gable roof has a retracted choir, a choir tower and a sacristy attached to the north. The nave with an open roof structure on pilaster strips has rectangular windows and the organ gallery in the east. The retracted, rectangular choir has a straight end wall and a flat ceiling. On the choir arch there are frescoes by Hubert Fritz , God the Father and the Holy Spirit with two trumpet angels, on the altar of the left aisle the resurrection of Christ as overcoming death and evil, on the altar of the right aisle St. Martin. The glass paintings and the Way of the Cross according to designs by Hubert Fritz were realized by B. Dallaserra in the Dornbirn glass painting establishment .
Furnishing
In the high altar niche is a group of figures of a crucifix with Maria and Johannes by the sculptor Hubert Fessler from Hörbranz (1955), who also has the tabernacle with copper-embossed symbols, the side altar figure of Anna selbdritt on the left and St. Michael right; Carved figures on the main portal: Moses, Daniel, Jesus, Paulus; on the left portal: the Eucharist, the unction of the sick and penance; on the right portal: confirmation, marriage and ordination, created.
The organ was built by Reinisch-Pirchner Organ Builders in 1957 .
