history

A church was mentioned in documents in the 11th century. A Gothic church building around 1471 was later partly redesigned in Baroque style.

architecture

The slightly drawn-in two-bay choir with a three-quarter end is vaulted with mesh ribs. The single-nave, three-bay nave was given a Baroque style in the 17th century with a stitch cap vault. The west gallery was built around 1770. The mighty west tower was converted into an octagon at the top and has an onion helmet.

Furnishing

The interior is neo-Gothic and neo-baroque.

There are tombstones from the 15th to 18th centuries, particularly noteworthy is a figural Gothic tombstone for Rudolf Trauner von Fürsteneck, died 1526, created by Jörg Gartner around 1520.
