Parish church Grünburg
The Roman Catholic parish church Grünburg is located in the municipality of Grünburg in the Kirchdorf an der Krems district in Upper Austria . It is consecrated to St. George and belongs to the Molln deanery in the Linz diocese . The building is a listed building .

Church building
- Church exterior
The church is a small late Gothic building. It has a west tower with a baroque onion helmet . There is an annex to the north of the choir. On the outer wall is a war memorial from 1955 designed by Hans Foschum .
- Church interior
The three-bay nave has a single nave and the three-bay choir with a 3/8 end is drawn in opposite the nave. Both the nave and the choir are vaulted with mesh ribs with partially winding ribs. Above the chapel north of the choir is a flat hanging dome from 1792.
Furnishing
The high altar and the side altars are neo-Gothic . The Rococo style pulpit was created around 1770. Some baroque statues date from the first half of the 18th century. In the chapel to the north of the choir is a rococo tabernacle altar from the period between 1760 and 1770. Above it is a remarkable figural group of crosses from the third quarter of the 18th century. In the chapel there is also the former high altar painting from the beginning of the 18th century showing St. George. It was painted by R. Mayer .
