Heiligenbrunn parish church

The Roman Catholic parish church of Heiligenbrunn is located in the municipality of Heiligenbrunn in the Güssing district in Burgenland . The parish church of St. Clemens is part of the Güssing dean's office in the Eisenstadt diocese . The church is a listed building .

history

The church was built on the site of a previous medieval church in 1764 on a steep slope. The pilgrimage chapel of St. Ulrich, which was built on the site of an older well chapel in 1926.

The chancel of the church

The late baroque hall with a retracted choir has a three-storey church tower with a pointed helmet in front of the western pseudo-gable facade. The single-nave, two-bay church interior with square vaults between double chords has a round arched triumphal arch. The triumphal arch shows a double coat of arms with Esterházy and Erdödy .

Furnishing

The high altar with a two-storey column structure bears the high altar image of St. Clemens and the top image of the risen and carved figures with saints and angels.
