architecture

The late baroque church with a retracted, flat and rounded choir and a sacristy to the east is surrounded by a cemetery. The nave has four window axes, a west portal and a south portal. The north tower has arched sound windows and a pointed pyramid roof. The gable facade from 1791 shows three mosaic pictures of Christ as a builder, the Sacred Heart and Mary.

The nave and the choir have a barrel vault with stitch caps. Behind the drawn-in triumphal arch, the drawn-in choir is further narrowed by the inserted tower and held symmetrically by a wall in the south, giving it a wider choir closure.

The stained glass was painted by Arthur Hecke in 1945.

Sanctuary

The church has a uniform interior from the 19th century. The high altar bears a Gothic carved Pietà from the 1st quarter of the 15th century, which was transferred from the former Gothic parish church in Wilten, and to the side the figures of Saints Barbara and Johannes Evangelist.

The side altars show altar pictures by Johann Kärle from 1872, on the left a guardian angel picture and on the right St. Johannes Nepomuk. On the left are the figures Elisabeth and Cäcilia and on the right the figures Nikolaus and Martin.

There are two seating groups, Guardian Angel and Raphael with Tobias von Johann Schnegg around 1770. Josef Kramer created a wooden crib in 1874.

The main body of the organ was built by Andreas Mauracher around 1803 . The parapet positive was built by Karl Reinisch's heirs in 1957 . There is a bell by Bartlme Graßmayr from 1704.
