history

A church in the village was first mentioned in a document around 1140. The current Gothic church was built around 1500.

architecture

The single-nave three-bay nave is followed by a drawn-in, lower two-bay choir with a three-eighth end. The ribs of the Gothic vaults were chopped off and the vaults were decorated with stucco and frescoes in the second quarter of the 18th century. The west tower with a rib vaulted bell chamber has an eight-sided pointed helmet. The south portal is richly moved late Gothic. The Gothic west gate has a door with Gothic fittings. The sacristy portal is arched over the shoulders and dies.

The cemetery wall is covered with Gothic wedge stones.

Furnishing

The high altar in baroque forms is probably from the beginning of the 19th century. The side altars were built around 1670/1680. The pulpit was built around 1720. The late Gothic fron arch crucifix was created around 1510/1520. There is a figural tombstone for Christoph Thaimer 1563.
