Catholic parish church hl. Anthony of Padua

The Roman Catholic parish church of Manhartsbrunn stands on a hill on the western edge of the village of Manhartsbrunn in the municipality of Großebersdorf in the Mistelbach district in Lower Austria . It is consecrated to Saint Anthony of Padua and belongs to the dean's office Wolkersdorf in the vicariate Unter dem Manhartsberg of the Archdiocese of Vienna . The building is a listed building .

history

In 1784 a local plan was built. The church was elevated to a parish church in 1806.

architecture

The church is a Josephine hall building with a retracted and just closed choir. On the west side there is a church tower built in 1787 with arched sound windows and a pyramid roof .

A flat ceiling with stucco medallions and wall paintings spans the church interior.

Furnishing

Interior of the parish church

The furnishings are all from the 19th century. The high altar is a columned aedicula with an altarpiece of St. Anthony. It dates from around 1900.
