Parish Church of St. Peter and Paul in Peterskirchen

The Peterskirchen parish church is located in Peterskirchen in the municipality of Peterskirchen in Upper Austria . The Roman Catholic parish church of Sts. Peter and Paul belong to the deanery of Ried im Innkreis in the Diocese of Linz . The church is a listed building .

history

The church was mentioned in a document in 1470. The late Gothic church was later redesigned in Baroque style.

architecture

The single-nave three-bay nave closes with a retracted two-bay choir with a three-eighth end. The facade shows stepped buttresses. The Gothic net ribs were later cut off and baroque pillars with capitals were added. The west tower has a pointed helmet.

Furnishing

The church furnishings are neo-Gothic.

The Gothic font has a coat of arms and is marked with the year 1512.
