Parish Church of Pramet
The parish church of Pramet is located in Pramet in the municipality of Pramet in Upper Austria . The Roman Catholic parish church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary belongs to the deanery Ried im Innkreis in the diocese of Linz . The church is a listed building .
history
The church was mentioned in a document in 1371. The Gothic church was changed to Baroque style in 1685.
architecture
The church, which stands picturesquely on a small elevation, has a single-nave three-bay cross-vaulted nave and a retracted two-bay stab cap vaulted choir with a three-eighth end. The west tower was raised octagonal at the top and received a baroque onion helmet.
Furnishing
The high altar around 1690 with the figures of Josef and Joachim from the construction period was later changed and bears the figure of Maria with child by Marx Frickinger (1622) in the center. The tabernacle around 1730 was transferred from Mettmach. The side altars were built around the time of the high altar. A house altar from the 1st half of the 17th century shows a picture of Mariahilf.
