The Roman Catholic parish church Telfs-St. Georgen is in the market town of Telfs in Tyrol . The parish church of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ is part of the Telfs deanery in the Innsbruck diocese . The church is a listed building .

history

The church was built in 1974/1975 according to the plans of the architect Anton Klieber and consecrated in 1975 as the Resurrection Church and Parish Vicariate Church. The patronage day is Easter Sunday . The church was elevated to a parish church in 1978. The free-standing church tower was built in 1995.

architecture

The hexagonal building has a gable roof that is pulled down at the sides. Roofed entrance portals are located on the acute-angled western gable side.

Furnishing

Ilse Glaninger-Balzar created the monumental bronze sculpture of the risen Christ .

Inside the church, the seating is arranged in a semicircle around the altar table.
