Parish Church Trogen
The Trogen parish church is an Evangelical Lutheran parish church in Trogen .
It belonged to the parish of St. Lorenz as early as 1366 . Its special features include the pulpit altar and the baptismal angel . Various marriage coats of arms of the patron saints are attached to the gallery, several of which are the coat of arms of the local von Feilitzsch family . Altar, baptismal angel and other works come from the workshop of Wolfgang Adam Knoll , who was also responsible for furnishing other churches in the area. With the introduction of the Reformation in 1529, Feilitzsch , seat of the von Feilitzsch family, came to the parish of Trogen. The family supported the Reformation with their means and was in correspondence with Martin Luther .
