New Catholic Parish Church of the Holy Spirit in Wiesen

The Roman Catholic New Parish Church Wiesen is in the market town of Wiesen in the Mattersburg district in Burgenland . The parish church of the Holy Spirit is part of the Mattersburg deanery in the Eisenstadt diocese .

history

The New Parish Church in the center of the village was built from 1958 to 1962 according to the plans of the architect Josef Patzelt .

Furnishing

From the old parish church of St. Barbara at the cemetery was the font from the 18th century, a crucifix from the end of the 18th century, a relief plaque of the Sermon on the Mount from the former pulpit from the second half of the 18th century and a statue of Saint Barbara from the first half of the 18th century transferred here.
