The Roman Catholic parish church of Zell an der Pram is located in Zell an der Pram in the municipality of Zell an der Pram in the Schärding district in Upper Austria . The church, consecrated on the Assumption of Mary , belongs to the Andorf deanery in the Linz diocese . The church is a listed building .

history

A church was documented in 955. From 1771 to 1777 the church was rebuilt according to the plans and under the direction of the master builder François de Cuvilliés the Younger with the Schärdingen master mason Blasius Aichinger. After a fire in 1782 the church was restored. In 1908 the tower received an onion helmet with a lantern.

architecture

A retracted choir with a semicircle adjoins the single-nave, three-bay nave with a remarkable spatial effect.

Furnishing

The facility was built after the fire (1782), but the side altars could be saved.
