Nursing magazine
Care magazine is a German specialist magazine for inpatient and outpatient care. It was founded in 1948 and has been published by Springer Medizin under the Springer Pflege brand since January 2017 . Before that, the Kohlhammer Verlag from Stuttgart published the magazine. The print run is 5,000 copies.
Founded in 1948 under the title Deutsche Schwesternzeitung , it was called Deutsche Krankenpflegezeitung from 1971 onwards . Since 1994 it has been published under the name “ Pflegezeitschrift” . The target group are all those working in nursing, i.e. nurses in the clinical and non-clinical area - from the sick, pediatric and elderly care, trainees in the nursing professions and students, teachers in training, further and advanced training institutions, managers at the various management levels in the nursing staff, those responsible for quality management as well as nursing scientists and interested parties. Core categories are nursing practice, nursing science , nursing management and nursing education . The Nursing Science section includes original papers that have been subjected to a peer review process by the scientific editorial board .
