Nursing education

The nursing education is concerned with the education, training, and training within the health and medical care, elderly care and health and pediatric care . It draws on findings from nursing science but also from health science , psychology , sociology and didactics . The job description developed from the job description of the teaching nurse via the teacher for nursing professions to become a qualified nursing teacher. In the meantime, the bachelor's and master's degree programs have replaced the corresponding diploma degree programs in accordance with the Bologna guidelines . The first further training to become a teaching nurse was introduced in the 1950s at the nursing school at Heidelberg University .
