Aloe albostriata is a species of aloes in the subfamily of the Affodilla family (Asphodeloideae). The specific epithet albostriata is derived from the Latin words albus for 'white' and striatus for 'striped' and refers to the white vertical stripes on the leaves of the species.

Vegetative characteristics
Aloe albostriata grows upright or prostrate, sprouts from the base and forms small groups. The trunk reaches a length of up to 30 centimeters. The ten to 15 narrow, sword-shaped leaves form loose rosettes , which are located on the upper 10 to 12 centimeters of the trunks. The light lemon-green leaf blade is 20 to 25 inches long and 2 inches wide. There are numerous whitish vertical stripes on it. The white teeth on the leaf margin are 0.75 to 1 millimeter long and 5 to 15 millimeters apart. The leaf juice is clear and dries clear.
Inflorescences and flowers
The upright inflorescence is simple or consists of one or two branches. It reaches a length of up to 70 centimeters. The rather loose, cylindrical-pointed grapes are up to 25 centimeters long. The pointed bracts have a length of up to 10 millimeters and are 2 millimeters wide. The orange-red flowers turn yellow towards the mouth. They stand on pink, 12 to 15 millimeter long flower stalks . The flowers are 24 millimeters long. At the level of the ovary , the flowers have a diameter of 3.5 millimeters. Your outer tepals are not fused together over a length of 12 to 13 millimeters. The stamens and the style protrude up to 1 millimeter from the flower.
Systematics and distribution
Aloe albostriata is distributed in Madagascar in the province of Antananarivo about 80 kilometers west of Antsirabe .
