history

In 1302, Count Mangold handed over the castle and other goods to the Reichenau Monastery , and in 1311 the Pflimmern Castle passed back to the Counts of Veringen. In the same year, Count Wolfrad von Veringen sold the castle to the knight H. Fleck.
In 1605 the town of Pflimmern was sold to Duke Friedrich von Württemberg . This made Pflimmern the only parish in the Riedlingen District Office to become Protestant . During the Thirty Years' War (1618–1648), Pflummer was sacked and depopulated, so it had to be repopulated.
