Pfraunstetten is a district of the municipality of Allmendingen in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . As part of the municipal reform in Baden-Württemberg , the municipality of Niederhofen was incorporated into Allmendingen on January 1, 1974 with the district of Pfraunstetten.

The village is about four kilometers west of Allmendingen and can be reached via the 7422 district road .

history

Pfraunstetten is first handed down in 1302 when the place was partially transferred to the Söflingen monastery by the Counts of Berg and von Veringen , which subsequently acquired the entire place.

With the monastery of Söflingen, the place fell to Bavaria as part of the secularization in 1803 and to the Kingdom of Württemberg in 1810 through the border treaty between Bavaria and Württemberg .
