The Phoenix Mosque ( Chinese  凤凰 寺 , Pinyin Fènghuáng sì , English Phoenix Mosque ) or Zhenjiao Mosque (Zhēnjiāo sì 真 教 寺 Zhenjiao Mosque) in Hangzhou in the Chinese province of Zhejiang is next to the Crane Mosque in Yangzhou , the Qingjing Mosque in Quanzhou and the Huaisheng Mosque in Guangzhou (Canton) one of the four large mosques on the Chinese coastal area.

The mosque was founded in the Tang Dynasty and was destroyed in the Song era. In 1281 during the Mongol era , A Laoding阿 老丁 from the Western Regions ( Xiyu ) began to rebuild. According to other sources, it was rebuilt between 1314 and 1320. It was expanded in the Ming Dynasty and completed in the Qing Dynasty . In 1929, the gate and the five-story wooden Wangyue pavilion on it were removed for urban planning reasons.

The Phoenix Mosque ( Fenghuang si ) from the Yuan to Qing dynasties has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (5-298) since 2001 .
