Phare de Pen-Men is the name of a lighthouse that was built on the island of Île de Groix in the Morbihan department in 1836.
In 1798 construction began not far from the location of today's lighthouse, although it was never completed because of a lightning strike. The square tower is located on top of a rectangular building that houses two rooms as well as the machines for operating the lighthouse.
At 29 nautical miles (approximately 54 km) scope Pen-Men is the most widely glowing tower Morbihan. It began its service in 1839, is guarded, but is automated.
