Pharmaceutical Biology , abbreviated to Pharm. Biol. , Is a scientific journal published by Taylor & Francis Verlag. The journal was founded in 1961 under the name Quarterly Journal of Crude Drug Research . In 1982 it was changed to the International Journal of Crude Drug Research . Another change was made in 1991 in the International Journal of Pharmacognosy before finally changing the name to Pharmaceutical Biology in 1998 . The magazine is currently published five times a year. Papers are published that deal with research in the field of pharmaceutical biology .
