Pharnakes (nobleman)
Pharnakes († May 334 BC ) was a nobleman in the Persian empire of the Achaemenids in the 4th century BC. And probably belonged to the Pontic - Cappadocian aristocracy.
He was a brother of the wife of the great king Dareios III. and one of the Persian commanders in 334 BC. Chr. In Asia Minor against Alexander the Great discharged Battle of the Granicus in which he fell.
