Lars Ylander ( Lars Aage Ylander; born August 12, 1928 in Uppsala , † November 16, 2010 in Karlstad ) was a Swedish hurdler who specialized in the 400-meter distance .

In 1950 he was fifth at the European Athletics Championships in Brussels .

At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 , he reached the quarter-finals and at the EM in 1954 in Bern, the semi-finals.

In 1952 and 1953 he was Swedish champion. He set his personal best of 52.2 s on August 24, 1952 in Stockholm .
