Phil Feldman
Phil Feldman (born January 22, 1922 , Boston , Massachusetts ; † October 11, 1991 , Los Angeles , California ), was an American film producer . The films he has produced include the Oscar-nominated classic film The Wild Bunch - They knew no law .
He joined the film industry after studying at Harvard University and Georgetown University as a lawyer for Famous Artists Corp. During World War II , he served as a lieutenant.
Feldman was executive vice president of CBS, 20th Century Fox, and Seven Arts. From 1975 to 1980 he headed First Artists.
He and his wife Ruthe have four children, including screenwriter Dennis Feldman . Feldman died of complications from cancer.
