Phil Libin (* 1972 in Leningrad , Soviet Union ) is a born in the Soviet Union, the United States active computer and since 27 July 2015 Chef (Executive Chairman) of the Silicon Valley -based software company Evernote whose CEO he was before.

He is one of the most innovative IT company founders in the world and a sought-after speaker at congresses. Most recently, at the end of October 2013, he led a start-up seminar at the Pioneers Festival in Vienna .

Prior to Evernote, Libin founded and ran the technology company CoreStreet until it was acquired by ActivIdentity in 2009. In Boston , Libin had also founded the Internet developer Engine 5 , which he sold to Vignette Corporation (VIGN) in 2000 .
