Philip Doyle

Philip Doyle (born September 17, 1992 ) is an Irish rower .

Doyle competed in the Rowing World Cup for the first time in 2018 and finished 15th in the single in Lucerne . At the 2018 World Championships in Plovdiv he rowed with Ronan Byrne in double sculls and finished ninth. In 2019, Doyle and Byrne took tenth place at the European Championships in Lucerne . At the World Cup final in Rotterdam, the Irish crossed the finish line second behind the Swiss. Six weeks later, the Chinese double scull won the 2019 World Championships in Linz-Ottensheim, followed by Doyle and Byrne receiving the silver medal.
