Philip L. Parslow

Philip "Phil" Leo Parslow (born August 2, 1936 in Los Angeles County , California , † July 29, 2003 in Sherman Oaks , Los Angeles ) was an American American football player and film producer .

Life

Philip Leo Parslow played football at the University of California, Los Angeles in the late 1950s . Due to injury, he ended his career and completed the directors' guild of America's recently launched assistant director program . For the first time he assisted in the comedy film Rosie! the director David Lowell Rich , before he worked in the production management for the first time in 1971 with the western drama The Cowboy and switched completely to production from 1973 with the film drama Time of Trials . From the 1980s, Parslow produced series such as The Denver Clan and Falcon Crest as well as television films such as A Home for Joey , Philadelphia Gang and The Beaten Man .

On July 29, 2003, Parslow died of a heart attack .
