Philip Leacock

Philip Leacock (born October 8, 1917 in London , † July 14, 1990 ibid) was a British film director .

Life

Philip Leacock, older brother of director Richard Leacock , started out as a documentary filmmaker until he made his first feature film in 1952 . The Spanish gardener in particular was recognized by the criticism ; his other works no longer came close to this success. From the 1960s on, Leacock mainly worked for television .
