Philip Reese Uhler
Philip Reese Uhler (born June 3, 1835 in Baltimore , † October 21, 1913 ) was an American librarian and entomologist . He did research on heteroptera (bedbugs).
Life
Uhler studied at Harvard University , among others with Louis Agassiz .
In 1864 he was appointed director of the Insect Museum and Library of the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard University. He later worked at the Peabody Library in Baltimore.
