Philip Aaron

Philipp Liepmann Elieser Aaron (* 1703 in Frankfurt (Oder) , † August 22, 1787 in Schwerin ) was a German medalist and die cutter .

From 1739 Philipp Aaron was court engraver in Schwerin, from 1750 to 1787 he was employed as court coat of arms and stamp maker at the Schwerin Mint, where his brother Abraham Aaron had also worked since 1771 . He signed PA , such as around 1749/50 medals on Duke Christian Ludwig II.
