Philipp Blaurock (born June 26, 1991 ) is a former German Nordic combined athlete .

Career

Philipp Blaurock competed in his first international competition in 2005. On January 16, 2009, he made his debut in the Nordic Combined Alpine Cup . In Schonach he reached the 41st place in a Gundersen competition on the normal hill.

About three years later, on January 28, 2012, the first start in the Continental Cup followed in Klingenthal . In this competition series he has so far achieved two podium places: In the 2013/14 season he was third both in a team sprint on February 8, 2014 in Klingenthal together with Wolfgang Bösl , and in an individual competition on March 16, 2014 in Kuusamo , Finland . At the end of the season he reached 13th place in the overall standings.

Blaurock has also taken part in several competitions within the framework of the Nordic Combined Grand Prix . The best result was a 22nd place, which he achieved on September 5, 2015 in Oberstdorf .
