Philipp Ernst (politician)
Philipp Heinrich Ernst (* March 7, 1814 in Edelsberg ? † December 12, 1891 ibid) was a German mayor and politician .
Life
Ernst, who was a Protestant denomination, became mayor of Edelsberg around 1847 and had been mayor there since the March Revolution in 1848 . In 1890 he left office. He belonged to the district council and after the annexation of the Duchy of Nassau by Prussia in 1866 to the district council of the Oberlahnkreis . From 1868 to 1885 he was a member of the Nassau municipal parliament and the provincial parliament of the Hesse-Nassau province for the Oberlahnkreis . In the communal parliament he was a member of the submission and audit committee and various special committees.
