Philipp Galewski

Philipp Galewski (born November 23,  1986 in Ansbach ) is a German sports economist . He has been managing director of Bamberger Basketball GmbH since July 2020.

career

Galewski operated athletics at TV 1909 Dietenhofen and took part as a decathlete in German all- around championships and in other disciplines in German team championships . In the decathlon he was Middle Franconian champion several times. He obtained a university degree in sports economics and worked for the Bayreuth company Medi in the areas of marketing, advertising and public relations.

On July 1, 2014, he took up the post of managing director of the Bundesliga basketball team Medi Bayreuth . At the beginning of 2018 he switched to the marketing of a Bayreuth manufacturer of children's supplies. He then worked for the automotive supplier Brose as a speaker for Michael Stoschek , the chairman of the shareholders' meeting of the Brose group, and later in the same group as head of corporate communications . At the beginning of July 2020, Galewski became managing director of Bamberger Basketball GmbH, the operator of the basketball Bundesliga club Brose Bamberg .
