Philipp J. Pamer

Philipp J. Pamer (* 2. March 1985 in Merano , South Tyrol , Italy as Philip Joseph Pamer ) is a film director and screenwriter.

Career

Pamer grew up in the Passeier Valley in South Tyrol . After graduating from secondary school in Merano in 2004, he moved to Munich . There he initially worked as a production assistant for an advertising film production. In addition, he worked as an assistant director and unit manager on various short film productions and made freelance image films.

In 2005 he was accepted at the University of Television and Film Munich and studied scenic directing from 2005 to 2010 in the cinema and television film course.

In 2009 he was awarded the DAAD Prize for outstanding performance during his studies . In the same year he founded the production company Remulus Film with his brother Konrad Pamer . His first feature film Bergblut won the Bayern 3 Audience Award at the Munich Film Festival in Germany in 2010 and the Audience Award and the Province of Verona Award in Italy at the Film Festival della Lessinia .
