Philipp Kovacs

Philipp Kovacs-Bürckert (born October 15, 1982 in Heilbronn ) is a German chef .

Career

After completing his training, Kovacs cooked in the Adler in Asperg (one Michelin star ), in the Alpenblick in Interlaken (one Michelin star) and in the restaurant 181 at Otto Koch in Munich (one Michelin star). Then he went to Portugal to Vila Joya in Albufeira with chef Dieter Koschina (two Michelin stars). In between he did internships with top chefs Dieter Müller and Philippe Rochat .

Since 2013 he has been head chef at the Goldberg restaurant in Fellbach, which was awarded a Michelin star in November 2015. He describes his style of cooking as a cross culture cuisine reduced to the essentials .

Philipp Kovacs-Bürckert has also been bearing the name Bürckert since 2017.
