Philipp Obenauer

Philipp Obenauer (born December 8, 1889 in Nieder-Flörsheim ; † June 11, 1966 there ) was a Hessian politician ( DDP ) and a former member of the state parliament of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Philipp Obenauer was the son of the cooper and innkeeper Georg Obenauer and his wife Magdalena nee Grün. He was married to Wilhelmine Margaretha Elisabetha nee Höbel and was of Protestant denomination.

Philipp Obenauer studied in Heidelberg and worked as a journalist until 1914. Later he was a farmer in Nieder-Flörsheim.

Philipp Obenauer was a member of the state parliament from 1921 to 1923. His successor in the state parliament was Johann Schreiber .
