Johann Adam Schreiber (born August 22, 1881 in Mainz-Kostheim ; † February 12, 1935 in Mainz ) was a Hessian politician ( DDP ) and a member of the state parliament of the People's State of Hesse .

family

Johann Schreiber was the son of the teacher Heinrich Joseph Schreiber and his wife Anna Maria, née Leydecker. Johann Schreiber was Catholic. He married Hedwig Kammermeier.

education and profession

After graduating from high school, Johann Schreiber studied law in Würzburg, Munich and Gießen. In 1908 he became a lawyer in Ober-Ingelheim . In 1923 he became chief magistrate in Bad Vilbel .

politics

Johann Schreiber was a member of the German Democratic Party (or from 1930 the German State Party) and for this between 1919 and 1921 and between 1923 and 1932 a total of 5 electoral terms in the state parliament. In 1923 he replaced Philipp Obenauer in the state parliament.
