Phillip Cribb

Phillip James Cribb (* 1946 ) is a British botanist. Its botanical author abbreviation is " PJCribb ".

Live and act

Cribb studied at the University of Cambridge and received his PhD from the University of Birmingham in 1972 . He was curator of orchids - herbarium at the Royal Botanic Gardens (Kew) and was considered an expert on the nomenclature and taxonomy of orchids. The orchid genus Paphiopedilum was processed by him. Cribb was committed to protecting orchids in their natural habitats.
