Phillip Thuaux
Phillip Thuaux (born July 9, 1979 in Point Clare ) is a former Australian cyclist .
At the Tour of South China Sea 2002, Phillip Thuaux, two seconds behind, was just beaten second in the overall standings behind South African Nicholas White . In 2003 he started with the team Down Under . In 2004 he drove for Cyclingnews.com-Down Under and in 2005 for the Indonesian racing team Wismilak . At the Oceanic Cycling Championships in 2005, he won the silver medal in road racing . From 2006 he drove for the Australian Continental Team Drapac Porsche . He finished the 2006 UCI Oceania Tour in fourth place.
On the track , Thuaux won the gold medal in the team pursuit in 2006 together with Zakkari Dempster , Hayden Josefski and Stephen Rossendell . The following year he became the Australian champion in the singles pursuit . Also in 2007, he won gold twice at the Oceanic Championships, once in the single pursuit, another in the team pursuit, with Mark Jamieson , Cameron Meyer and Travis Meyer .
