The Phola Gangchen (also Molamenqing ; Chinese  摩拉 门 青 , Pinyin Mólāménqīng ) is a 7661  m high peak in the Himalayan Jugal Himal massif in the south of Tibet ( People's Republic of China ).

The Phola Gangchen is due to its notch height of only 431 m as a secondary peak of the eight-thousander Shishapangma and not as an independent mountain. It is located 2.48 km east of the main peak of Shishapangma.

Ascent history

The summit has only been climbed once - in 1981 by a New Zealand expedition (B. Farmer and R. Price).
